I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

22:01:03 FACT, the new media center of Liverpool.
It opens to the public on Jan. 22 in the new space of Liverpool FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) , a center for the production, understanding and enjoyment of the simple film video and new media art. A mammoth project cost 20 million pounds that seek to stimulate the artistic production of the entire area of northwestern British. The center, in fact, is designed to provide space and resources to be exploited in partnership with many other British institutions and international. The property features two art galleries, three theaters operated by an independent schedule that will especially retrospectives of filmmakers working in different corners of the planet. There is also a 'Media Lounge', space designed for net.art works with pc and a large plasma screen, and 'The Box' a micro-cinema presentations and exhibitions of emerging artists, producers and filmmakers. For the inauguration was commissioned a film to Isaac Julien and in addition to the first screenings and weekly webcast, you will benefit from the installation Last.FM, that learns from the user's musical tastes.
