It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

Si svolge oggi e domani (18-19/01), presso il Humanities Research Institute dell’Universitˆ della California, la conferenza Digital Culture: Epistemologies Subjectivities, primo di tre appuntamenti sposorizzati nientemeno che dalla Rockefeller Foundation, in una serie intitolata ‘Digital Dilemmas’ focalizzandosi sulle istanze di ‘verità’ e di ‘soggetto’. Fra gli interventi previsti quelli di Katherine Hayles (‘Simulating the Subject: Mediation in `House of Leaves”), (‘Models of Collective Intelligence’) Pierre Levy, J.
