Inaugurated today all'Edith-Russ-Haus für Medienkunst of Oldenburg (Germany), the exhibition 'Cyberfem: Spirit of date' . This evening will open with a performance by Heather Cassils and Cathy Davies, entitled 'Microsoft Me / Click and Drag' (pictured). The two, dressed like clones of the superpower Microsoft, have some texts, read in speech, excerpts from interviews, statistics and presentations from and about Bill Gates, all mixed with images from the Web and in particular by Corbis Image Bank (always Microsoft property) and from sites of the office furniture wholesalers, overlapping reflections on feminism and business philosophies, placing in stark contrast to the language of the utopian slogan Microsoft with the harsh reality of jobs. In addition to this stigmatization of masculinity and power technology, will present works of Cornelia Sollfrank, Linda Wallace, Francesca da Rimini, Agnese Trocchi, The Gender Changer Academy, Jen Liu, Diane Ludin, Jenny Marketou, Die Patinnen Teil II and Pernille Spence.
