2005 Synthesis

Is taking place in various places in Naples in the 2005 edition of Synthesis, electronic arts festival . As in previous years (in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 ), the program ranges between the various artistic expressions multimedia, having preferential attention as that of electronic music, the linchpin of the historic event. Two installations including: 'Edge' of Mark Zezza, a video on the outskirts inserted into the nascent N.est database, database dedicated to the east of the city of Naples, and 'Living After Midnight' by Henrik Håkansson, an installation intended to detect movements of bats near to a lamp during the night. The projections relate to 'Moog' by Hans Fjellestad, the documentary film about the figure of Robert Moog, inventor of the synthesizer and videos 'Art of Speed' Nike, 'One minute suite 1/2', 'Sharp' Giulia Mainenti, 'Vidok' Timo Novotny, 'Audiovisions 3' Sixpackfilm. There are two cd-rom furibili publicly: 'Strange Things' and '3 of Nostatic plicity' of Oginoknauss, while it is expected the meeting on April 8 at 15:30 at the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies with Lev Manovich , followed April 9 by the presentation of Creative Commons Italy . Finally are expected to live Philippe Petit, Teho Teardo Freiband, Semiconductor and Frank Bretschneider
