Piemonte Share Festival

Inaugurated on February 24 in Turin the first Piemonte Share Festival , a festival of new media organized by the Cultural Sharing, which in various places in the city has chosen to address the issue of 'wave', understood as a cultural flow generated through digital technologies . For this edition the attention has been focused on a host country, Brazil, through a review of video art, concrete poetry and installations including those of Giselle Beiguelman , Bambozzi Lucas and Luis Duva Other main topic of video games with a vast collection of works including those of John Klima , Mauro Ceolin , Jeremiah Johnson aka Nullsleep , Josh On , Martin Le Chevallier , Carlo Zanni , Brody Condon , Jodi , Retroyou , Josephine Starrs & Leon Cmielewski . Among the conferences there are 'Net.Art utopia in jeopardy' with Roberta Bosco and Stefano Caldana , 'Gamescenes', always on the various facets of video games, 'Art-Marketing (Fuck the market to get into it)' with Luca Lampo of epidemiC and Guerrillamarketing . Among the performances, however, 'POL' of Marcel.lì Antunez Roca, already presented at Ars Electronica in 2003, a play with mechanical robots and a narrative inqiuetante, and 'Blogrodeo' on hypertext writing, as well as a projection of the work of School of Animation of the local Experimental Centre of Cinematography. Among the concerts, finally, must be reported: a session with the creator of Nanoloop Oliver Wittchow , the Poles Gameboyzz Orchestra , the new ensemble audio / video Pirandèlo, and the project 'Stare Mesto' of Otolab .
