Réseaunances, concerts for remote audience.

From 16 to 25 October IRCAM in Paris is home to Réseaunances a unique electronic music festival that has only a remote audience. The choice of the organizers was in fact to organize this festival in their offices all focusing on the audience reached by the network, and then sending the concerts in streaming audio and video, so deterritorialize musical performances and experiment with a novel mode production and use of live music. The distance between artist and audience symbolized by the stage, here is translated into dot matrix screen, dissolving at the same time sharing of space and perception for physical transmission of the event. At the same time, expand the space of users up to the maximum of concurrent connections possible, to expand and diversify the perceptual experience of the concert traditionally understood, meaning the remote transmission no longer as an ancillary service, but as the rules for the implementation prince, focusing on the transmission rather than the presence. Among the artists invited to perform live in the offices of the institution: Aoki Takamasa, Yoshihiro Hanno, Hypo, Tujiko Noriko, O.Lamm, Discom.
