25.02.03 SuPerVillainizer, conspiracies by email.

Developed by the swiss collective LAN and presented at the latest Digital Is Not Analog, SuPerVillainizer is an interactive web conspiracy project sarcastically opposing the creation of ‘enemies’ and their public profiles as conceived by the fans of total surveillance after September 11th 2001. SuPerVillainizer gives the possibilty to create active profiles of famous people considered ‘bad’, a pretext used by western governments to introduce a more and more suffocating surveillance of their citizens. These profiles correspond to a real email address hosted at a swiss provider and it’s possible to activate imaginary conversations between the different personalities, conversations which are automatically generated by the software implemented by the young swiss artists. Don’t miss those between Saddam Hussein and Steve Ballmer and between Osama Bin Laden and Silvio Berlusconi!
