It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

The Electronic Frontier Foundation has launched a new public action , in support of the position taken by the Philips against the protection of music compact disc (see The so-called protected can not have the logo 'cd' ). The organization for the rights of the citizen digital asks anyone to send a letter of support to the same Philips, pushing it to take additional measures for the protection of consumers, such as asking the cds are protected segregated in a special space in stores, distinguishing them from those not protected, and that the hardware manufacturers are left free to produce systems that circumvent this type of unnecessary protections, allowing you to listen to the music contained therein without restriction. From the website you can download a standard letter to be sent to the address indicated.
