14/05/01 Crash possible to Cisco routers.
The Cisco , the world largest producer of routers, has publicly admitted a possible problem with the BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), which, if it receives unknown parameters in one of its applications (description of path), it can generate a memory problem that sends crash the router itself. The solution is obtained by upgrading to the new software, but the company is concerned that spreading evil little programs can block entire provider if performed in the wrong place.
