The relationship between Andy Warhol and personal computers (becoming quite popular during his last years) has been only partially investigated beyond his Amiga works. I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

11:07:02 Camping Electronic, young French talent to collection.
It opens on July 11, the first edition of Electronic Camping , a four-day event that brings together young French experimenters, perloppiù sound and visuals that make their digital media tool of expression. Camping Eletronic held in France, 40 kilometers from Montelimar, in the countryside, trying to put together a friendly meeting of artists motivated to come together to share ideas and collaborate while there is an air of vacation for sun and river. Organized by eva revox and neutrino, the event will run for four days with public workshops, infrastructure available to all (video projector, sound amplification systems, screens, audio and video mixers) and participation, among others, the famous VJs Betaville, along with the video artist Solu and many other new talents, with the collaboration of Fiftyfifty.org.
