04/01/02 Net art literary poems for Echelon.
' Poem for Echelon 'by Slovenia's Jaka Zeleznikar is a work of net art that combines literary activism, aesthetics and ascii code programming in a simple but fascinating pattern. The structures of text and visual contain a number of terms to which Echelon is sensitive randomly inserted. The artist obviously invites all users to copy the texts generated and sent by e-mail, thus generating confusion in control systems. Each poem contains a title, a structure that simulates an ascii coded message, inserting spaces and converting to uppercase other words 'charged', and a grammatically correct text chosen at random from those available.
