28.09.01 In defense of freedom.
A poster for the defense of personal freedoms ( In defense of freedom ) ten-point agreement was signed at the National Press Club in Washington for more than 150 organizations (including Amnesty International, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Center for Digital Democracy and the Electronic Privacy Information Center), 300 law professors and 40 computer scientists (including Simson Garfinkel and John Gillmore).
