It was inaugurated on November 15 at De Oude Kerk in Amsterdam Amsterdam Information.Org-World: Exploring the Network Society of Control , a combination of exhibitions and conferences organized by Public Netbase/t0 digital artists who will present projects and an extensive research on latest technologies of control and surveillance. The exhibition is divided into four sections: 'World-Infostructure', on the evolutionary history of communication technologies and their social impact; 'World-C4U', on the use by governments and corporations control technologies and safety included 'Enigma' machine to encrypt the historical information, 'WIO-Works', however, is a temporary media lab where different groups working on different themes and engage with the public; 'Future Heritage Expo', finally, includes an exhibition of works 'GenTerra' uncertainties of genetic engineering of the Critical Art Ensemble ( see ), 'Bubl Space' the hypothesis of silent space at the request of Arthur Elsenaar & Taco Stolk, the performance of Yesmen, robots and other projects of the activists' Institute for Applied Autonomy, 'System Azure' Jill Magid on the aesthetics of surveillance, RIXC in Riga together with Marko Peljhan with a live link to the satellite dish to Irbene, a remnant of the Cold War, and the project Vopos_GPS of 0100101110101101.ORG ( see ).
