It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

26.09.02 Trashlog, the charm of garbage on the web.
In an apparent complacency, Nico Van Hoorn, is the artist who created the Trashlog , a site updated daily with photos of bits of junk that is scanned at high resolution on colored plates. The depth of the work, however, goes beyond the mere collecting habit, as these fragments are retrieved daily from the black hole of our baskets, bringing integrates fascinating and their apparent uselessness steeped in the charm of discovery. The garbage, it also has features common to the composition of virtuality of a website, because once they enter eliminated in our memory for physically split himself in storing and recycling.
