(T) ERROR: entare in a video game as an activist.

The game (T) ERROR Robert Praxmarer is much more than just a game console, it is an opportunity to take direct action. There are so many ways of being activist, constructive and destructive: definitely (T) ERROR gives concrete evidence of the consequences that can lead to be a "activist" of the war. A definition which is the opposite of the meaning of this word has taken in recent times, whose semantic context is definitely right of those struggling pursuing certain ideals to assert certain rights. This videogames work critically through the paradox: dress up clothes virtual George W. Bush, Osama Bin Laden, or Tony Blair is one of the most immediate ways to reflect critically on the issues of the war. Reality and Game here are closely related. (T) ERROR works directly for "immersion" of the player in the context of action: interfacing a camera that takes the player to a computer, its virtual silhouette is entered directly into the game. Shown on a large screen, the player can direct its movements by observing the effects in real time, interacting with icons of the game programmed by the artist. An experiment that recalls the Artificial Reality environments of Myron Krueger from the Seventies, in our house, the experiments with the system of Mandala artists such as Maximum Contrast and GMM-Giovanotti Mondani Mechanical nineties. The difference is that (T) ERROR, living environment more concise than just "video" game, puts emphasis on issues such as war and violence through different levels of the game. (T) ERROR want criticizzare the media company, more and more pervasive and unreal in its brutal reality and videogames themselves, investigating the limits and highlighting the connseeioni with economy and military industry. (T) ERROR has been selected for the MAD 03 in Madrid, Spain and has been presented recently in Berlin as part of the rebel: art festival organized by the collective of the journal rebel: art.
