It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

This is the acquittal of legal action on behalf of dall'EFF Professor Ed Felten (pictured) at Princeton University. Felten had discovered the holes in the SDMI protection system to protect the music files from the copy, now fallen on hard times, but the RIAA had intervened to stop them from publishing. The EFF's action was based on the famous First Amendment, which should ensure the freedom of research.
