Auditory filters.

The Personal Active Radio / Audio Terminal (parat) is a kind of headphone + microphone that 'filter' effectively some waveforms, leaving others to pass. Developed by laboratories Norwegian SINTEF has been developed to allow soldiers to war to communicate clearly, excluding the explosions that surround them, but we can already see promising developments for mobile phones, being able to give a new quality to the conversations. It consists of two microphones, one outside that sends all the audible signal processor, and one ear to monitor listening. Its marketing is planned for next year.
