Capitalis Pirate, the initials of the multinationals.

Designed by Roland Henss for Plazm, Capitalis Pirate is a font in which each each letter, number or sign is extracted from the corresponding letter of the logo of a multinational. This selection will reflect on how the 'K' of the Kellogs, or 'M' of McDonald's, just to mention a few examples, have been so pervasive in their branding campaign to be immediately recognizable even within this crowd of symbols known. A different feeling, however, is presented using the font to represent a sentence, given that many familial forms compete to capture the undivided attention of the view, without which no longer able to decisively prevail over the other, in a common background made of black and white and in which the excessive proximity of the symbols cancels their effect of exclusive characterization. Available in TrueType format for Mac and PC, the font may be freely downloaded as freeware.
