Ves Lo Que Te Gusta?, Political communication in phone booths.

Political interventions in public spaces are often designed as a reappropriation of the same, from a visual point of view, now almost fully contracted corporate communication. Actions in these areas widely visible to the public represent a breaking point in the communication of content, as well stylistically, which offers views of the approved less glossy spectacle of the advertising industry. Ves Lo Que Te Gusta? (Like what you looking at?) is the provocative title of a series of actions documented photographically and carried out by an anonymous collective of Spanish artists. The space, homogeneous in order to be even more recognizable, is devoted to advertising from telephone boxes of the 'Telefonica', the largest telecommunications company Iberian. Different techniques, insertion of objects and a broad spectrum of issues make this series of visual performance a concrete example of media challenge skillfully played on the spaces more valuable to the consent of the goods and for the consolidation of their dominance.
