Texterritory v.2.3, text messages that affect performance.

Backed by the cultural program 'Future Physical', which investigates the evolution of the interaction between virtual worlds and reality, Texterritory v.2.3 , was staged on May 6 at the Robin Howard Dance Theatre in London. It is a theatrical performance which fully engages the audience through strategic interaction mediated sending text messages. The work is interpreted by the performer and choreographer Sheron Wray, who plays a secretary who is preparing for her first date with Jerome, when a text message warns her that her partner evening will come 'with a little' late. The unexpected time to spend becomes the space of interaction with the public, they determine sms choose how to evolve the story, claiming the girl's insecurities, solving its dilemmas on clothing, on what it will look like the partner, met a single Once in a disco dark and then contacted only via sms, and what to do if no longer arrive. The narrative paths that meander with each replica are always different, filling even the hitherto unbridgeable distance between performer and audience.
