I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

20:12:02 My Voice, a foreign voice to that of the author.
My Voice (read by microphone) is an interactive work of Gregory Chatonsky, author of Netsleeping , which uses one of the most innovative technical features of Flash MX, namely the detection and management of sound from an external source. My Voice soul a text in an invisible (black on black) that is revealed only when the microphone senses sound enabled in the spectrum of the human vocal tract, According to the author this means "to make a foreign voice that of the author," in perpetual exchange of roles in which the user reads the text in this way giving life. The charm of the theoretical indissolubility of the two roles (author and audience) makes this necessary for the interactivity of 'functions', as in The Well , another that made use of the same features of Flash MX. Without being able to induce a user reaction, the work is dead, as, indeed, it ever was.
