It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

After the ups and downs in recent years (see HushMail + PGP. , and PGP for sale. ), PGP, the popular cryptographic technique invented by Phil Zimmermann has found home again at an independent firm, after the sale of Network Associates. The company called PGP Corporation was founded by Jon Callas, PGP former chief scientist and autumn Verrano put on the market versions of PGP Desktop 8.0 for Windows XP and Mac OS X, along with other products for the two existing platforms. For the creation of this new venture were collected $ 14 million in two venture capital firms. The European distribution of products will be curated by the English Intellect .
