It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

' Mythic Hybrid 'is the new net art work of Prema Murthy, already the author of Bindigirl (see Bindigirl, net art erotica. ) and a former member of the Fakeshop. New York Turbulence funded institution, the work was inspired by Indian workers in the factories of microelectronics, and brings collective hallucinations and mass hysteria that affect these women exploited in a way far-fetched. Affected by the investigations published in various U.S. media, the author has traveled throughout the past year in India, discovering perfectly rational people of their inhumane conditions. The work borrows the interface of Google and other search shows a link, where to sites that defend the rights of women workers alternate visual loop with the inside of the assembly departments, with written records of emblematic phrases of the protagonists, in the background while you listen to a proclamation of power and pride of the German company Siemens.
