Starts today in Toronto (Canada), the fourth edition of Subtle Technologies , a conference devoted to the intersections between science and art. Among the works presented, Mid-Air, a series of sculptures using air as a medium of visual and sound, The Appearance Machine, Willy Le Maitre and Eric Rosenzveig, a device that physically stationed in New York, transmits a daily stream audio-video processing debris, building the sound from the images generated by the machine, and Inside the Mask, a work of Andrea Polli, who studies the production of sound through eye movements.
