I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

The site 7amnews.com New Zealand has published pictures of the Media Tracker, the terrible software developed by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). Media Tracker detects a playlist, the network that are shared (Napster, Freenet, Gnutella), the IP address of the person who puts incondivisione, and the name of its host or ISP, as well as date and time when the File sharing has begun. Everything is stored in a database that obviously allows to cross the information and then detecting statistics (for example) the Service Provider most active in these operations.
