Pizza Party, pizza command line.

The vision of the code, and the grammars of programming, such as language in all respects to linguistics often requires an attitude demonstrated by hackers and artists who are comfortable with the manipulation of signs. Commissioned by the New York gallery Eyebeam, Pizza Party is an interface to the command line (command line interface) that allows you to interact with the pizza chain Domino's home, already contacted through a form on a web page. The translation involves a deliberate use of older technologies and basic, according to an efficient low-tech approach, but especially the use of a specific syntax, the original Unix, which is universally accepted and risen to the language and paradigm interface after 'huge spread of the Linux operating system. Developed by Cory Arcangel, author of Date Diaries , this work opens a window on the alleged technicality command line and their construction, using pop imagery linked to the hacker (according to the clichés lovers pizza) to connect the description of the everyday life with the codes that they administer the operations of the machine, in a hybrid and tasty text interface.
