Prints + Chips is an exhibition of electronic art in progress at Bitforms gallery in New York, which showcases artists who relate with playful communication platforms, with works that reveal the relationship between the production and the specificity of the object. The exhibition curated by Michele Thursz with the participation of Italian Carlo Zanni with its' ICOn_Portraits' icons of famous personalities in the history of computing, RSG (Alex Galloway) with '2 x2 ', the first of a series of animated films for the Nintendo Game Boy, with a two-pixel resolution degraded by two, Cory Arcangel (aka beige) with Paul Davis that showcases their cartridge of Super Mario Brothers changed so that you can simply enjoy a panorama of clouds flowing, keeping the original soundtrack; Yucef Merhi with 'Atari Poetry I, 2001', the artist cinematic poems composed on an old Video Computer System (VCS) dell'Atari; Yael Kanarek Nowheres with '2 'a series of three-dimensional environments created for World of Awe, hypertext fiction story; Willy Le Maitre and Eric Rosenzveig with some products from their 'appereance Machine' a machine that turns debris into a stream audio / video, and then Jeff Gompertz (aka Fakeshop) and with Tomek ' Rabalski Print 'a series of snapshots from online performance that form a pictorial narrative of its own.
