RIAA: Gnutella goal.

After resizing the Napster phenomenon with the catch of the filters, the RIAA raises the bar tip and its legal weapons against Gnutella. Many in fact were the private meetings in recent weeks with companies that have Internet Security self-styled anti-piracy technologies. But analysts say it's a losing battle, and made just to try to scare users, as the Gnutella network (which according to the latest estimates has about 250,000 users) is not centralized as that of Napster, and therefore not actionable in advance. The RIAA diversifying its strategy has contacted Cantametrix , a company that identifies the sound files through their sonic properties. According to Max Wells, technical manager of the company: "Only one percent of users of Gnutella files that provide all the other copy. Just lock them to make the network useless."
