CD – Strange Fortune
An electronic production rich in elegant textures, diluted sounds and dreaming atmospheres, mostly thanks to the iterated melodies that peep out from strange voices and meditative drones. Gloomy and sensitive envelopes, that deliberately reveal an emotional approach, far from the theoretical rigor ofother ambient compositions. They are anyway steeped in the same technical expertise, and in the same art of making pauses and omissions resonate. On difficult ridges, between research and decor, taking the risk of being considered by some easily knowing, by others too abstract, Tor Lundvall succeeds in staying firm on its very personal style. This is an alchemy that blends feeling that are not leaving the listener indifferent, for sure.
