Sometimes the online world reveals unsuspected parallel dimensions. This is an unknown restyle of Neural independently (and secretly as we never knew about it) made by NY-based Motion and Graphic Designer, Clarke Blackham. Very nicely made, perhaps only a bit glossier for the magazine’s line, it testifies once more how even your most familiar outcomes can have another life somewhere else.
The third edition of the Share festival (previous editions in 2005 and 2006) is opening on February 23rd atthe Albertina Academy of Art in Turin. For the first year a prize was established, for which six projects are shortlisted: Mikro Orchestra Project (ex Gameboyzz Orchestra), Christoph Bruno’s Human Browser (interview in Neural 25), 5voltcore’s Shockbot Corejulio, Gregory Shakar’s The Analog Color Field Computer, UBERMORGEN.COM, Paolo Cirio, Alessandro Ludovico’s Amazon-noir.com and Stanza‘s Sensity, The Emergent City. A series of conferences and workshops with people involved as Arturo di Corinto, Paolo Pedercini, Regine Debatty, Domenico Quaranta, Tatiana Bazzichelli (former Neural contributor), Geert Lovink (interview in Neural 20) , Matteo Pasquinelli, Luca Barbeni, Giorgio Mortari, Fabio Franchino, Gianluca del Gobbo, Marco Cadioli, Bruce Sterling, Antonio Caronia and Paolo Atzori. The program includes also a LAN Party, two dj/vj nights made by net labels guys, a Mikro Orchestra Project live and a promising performance by Suguru Goto. The website offers, indeed, webcastings of some of the previous year’s conferences
