Sometimes the online world reveals unsuspected parallel dimensions. This is an unknown restyle of Neural independently (and secretly as we never knew about it) made by NY-based Motion and Graphic Designer, Clarke Blackham. Very nicely made, perhaps only a bit glossier for the magazine’s line, it testifies once more how even your most familiar outcomes can have another life somewhere else.
CD – Mousikelab
This is the debut album for the Ether trio from Florence whose members are Andrea Brancali, Andrea Masi and Francesco Bigazzi, an ensemble halfway between refined minimal electronica sequences, glitches and elaborate groove experiments. Perfectly measured influences mixed in an always fluid listening experience, even if enjoyed in a club. Truly eclectic tracks, with their abstract hip hop samples and hypnotic, straight rhythms, inspired by a new-generation hybrid pop. Mousikelab, the label managed by Marco Messina and Retina.it (who delivered a great performance some days ago at Sònar 2006) understands the ongoing changes opening its doors to a techno-beatz union, which will be the new territory to explore in the next seasons.
