Sometimes the online world reveals unsuspected parallel dimensions. This is an unknown restyle of Neural independently (and secretly as we never knew about it) made by NY-based Motion and Graphic Designer, Clarke Blackham. Very nicely made, perhaps only a bit glossier for the magazine’s line, it testifies once more how even your most familiar outcomes can have another life somewhere else.
CD – Very Friendly / Tigerbeat6 / Wide
Miguel Manuel De Pedro, AKA Kid606, goes all the way. He’s a sound saboteur who, with this amusing title, produces a fat techno electronic dance. Rave vibrations, all right, but very diluted: he replies to other’s transgressive frequencies with a popularization of the underground themes. The analog synths really hit the listener, and in many occasions the music flies around 130 bpm and more, paying homage to Jeff Mills or to the Green Velvet. It’s an acid but captivating sound, hard but not too much, linear and fluid enough if compared to the previous distorted attempts by this producer of Baltimore, a historical figure of Tigerbeat6.
