Sometimes the online world reveals unsuspected parallel dimensions. This is an unknown restyle of Neural independently (and secretly as we never knew about it) made by NY-based Motion and Graphic Designer, Clarke Blackham. Very nicely made, perhaps only a bit glossier for the magazine’s line, it testifies once more how even your most familiar outcomes can have another life somewhere else.
CD – Disasters By Choice / Wide
The italian label Disasters By Choice celebrates its tenth birthday with an extremely interesting collection of remixes, with artists the likes of Murcof, Fibla, Isan, Alog, Flotel and Encre, together with some of their usual collaborators who remix Slow Motion,Melodium and Layer. They are electronic, experimental and instrumental productions, with a vocal track by Teho Teardo, an airy and languid piece, but still with a digital matrix. Fanciful sounds, permeated by several different influences, the reinterpretation/reediting of a catalog already rich in experiences, the proof of a courageous choice that could serve as an example to those who, in Italy, would like to walk down the road of research.
