Sometimes the online world reveals unsuspected parallel dimensions. This is an unknown restyle of Neural independently (and secretly as we never knew about it) made by NY-based Motion and Graphic Designer, Clarke Blackham. Very nicely made, perhaps only a bit glossier for the magazine’s line, it testifies once more how even your most familiar outcomes can have another life somewhere else.

Luc Ferrari, electroacoustic composer and experimenter, recently dead, was one of the most important contemporary authors to influence the new generations. Between field recording and abstract narration, sound trip and analytical exploration, throughout a long career inspired by the original intuitions of John Cage, this skilled musician constantly guided us into the iterations of sound and humanity, disarticulating the homogeneous fruition and the easy and predictable success. In ‘Son Memorise’ there are many levels, ideally divided into three parts, with recordings made in different times and places: voices, fragments, traditional and esoteric music together in a fascinating story of a still useful and sensitive avant-garde.
