31.05.02 DeMuDi and Agnula, GNU / Linux distributions for multimedia.
DeMuDi and Agnula (A GNU / Linux Audio distribution) are two talented distribution projects of the operating system GNU / Linux dedicated to audio and multimedia, fully based on the rules and principles of free software. The two projects are started on April 1 and will continue until March 2004 through the free exchange of the data over the network, and in the second year of development promise to extend to other hardware architectures such as PowerPC and 64-bit systems. Prestigious international partners are involved as IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique / Musique) in Paris, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Music Technology Group, Barcelona, ​​Kung Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) in Stockholm, the Free Software Foundation Red Hat Europe and France.
