“Art Post-Internet” was an exhibition curated by Karen Archey and Robin Peckham for the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing in spring 2014. This is the specially designed pdf catalogue whose with the front page is created each time with the IP and quite approximated location of the user. It includes tentatively definition of “post-internet” by Cory Arcangel, Simon Denny, and Bunny Rogers, art critics Ben Davis and Paddy Johnson, academics Mark Tribe and Esther Choi, and museum professionals Christiane Paul, Raffael Dörig, Jamillah James, Ben Vickers, Omar Kholeif and Gene McHugh.
It is scheduled for tonight (17/01) at Kiasma Theatre in Helsinki (Finland) Manipulator , a six-hour performance performed by Marita Liulia, Kimmo Pohjonen and Aki Suzuki. In Manipulator artists create manipulations and are subject themselves, with the central idea of sampling that crosses musical parts, visual art and dance created for the event. The three have long shared the interest in combining traditional art forms with new technologies. The performance aims to provide a constant evolution during the six hours, and will be broadcast via webcast on the site of the theater, in addition to being displayed in the form of projection outside its walls.
