I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

Ultrasound is a three day festival that takes place at The Media Centre in Huddersfield (UK) and wants to explore the territories of sound experimental and electronic music. The artists selected for the live concerts with Alexei Shulgin with its famous sets in the company of a 386DX trust that accompanies it with his speech synthesizer, Andrew Diey [Black Faction] which includes some unpublished in his live of the late Muslimgauze, the 'generative audio of Evol,' Scribble ', the spectacular performance of colored Golan Levin chesfrutta interactive software of the Audiovisual Environment Suite to create and manipulate abstract animation and synthetic sounds in real time, Ixi, the group that produces the eponymous software developed by a large network of people, able to create virtual musical instruments through a flexible, playful, Nullpointer, aka Tom Betts, with its software PixelMap, which responds to messages sent in UDP / TCP with simple geometric pattern in pixels, the PowerBooks For Peace with their digital minimalism, Printed Circuits with dissonances from home computers, Slub, improvisation generative software for Linux and Mac, and Xabi Erquizia, an experimenter Basque struggling with a mixing of old and new media. Including the conference 'Space, Soundscape and the Urban Landscape', which presents a series of works such acts esplorre the sound environment in the broadest sense, and the relationships between the living space, the soundscape and urban.
