I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

Transmutational: Meta: Processor is one of the premises Troy Innocent, Australian artist active for more than ten in the development of a personal digital aesthetic based on the computation of 3D graphics. The ambitious aim of this work is to construct and interpret a three-dimensional language is constantly evolving. The structures are woven into animation rendered abstract space and sounds accompany them synchronously in the movements. Any form, then, becomes a symbol due to its link with parametric sound frequencies and is a sign inside of a larger alphabet. The work, conceived as an installation is available on the web as description and visualization of the loop, a veritable alphabet of the work suggests new levels of sound communication, amplified visually by the illusion of shadows and lights made in the simulated room.
