I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

This evening at 20:00 at the Center for Culture and Politics De Balie in Amsterdam, the conference will take place ' Net art and art criticism ', trying to understand how, in spite of the net art has become part of the circuits' official 'dell' art from the historic edition of X 'Documenta', the net artists have remained in the zoo of exotic creatures of contemporary art, giving rise to many questions including: artists are not to be sufficiently understood, or is the same as net art in need new criteria? In that context, it should be discussed in the contemporary art or in the evolution of the network and communication technologies? And for his performance enough to the criteria of contemporary art itself will become obsolete or totally new?
