The collective InfoAnarchy, has created a " mailing list action "to go against the copyright law that makes public domain books only 70 years after the author's death. This leads to a slowdown in the free enjoyment of the knowledge that, as the collective claims, it can go to ~ genius only to certain corrupt lobby. The list? dedicated to the battle for reform of copyright law. These, the different objectives of: contacting politicians to get that issue becomes a priority, reduce the time required by the regulations for the implementation of the public domain by designing a law really applicable; writing a "Public Domain Manifesto" and spread it wide international public awareness, organizing demonstrations, boycott the large holding companies such as Disney, who are strongly opposed to the concept of public domain, not buying more? their products; plan a fundraiser to be able to continue long protest. To organize various activities group, the site of InfoAnarchy? also activates a stub page, an area specially designed with wiki technology, which allows anyone to edit their proposals personally on the web. The "InfoAnarchy wiki" contains information about file sharing, copyright, gift economy, the cyber rights, research on peer to peer, and other information of general interest.
