Les Htmlles is a festival of net art subtitled 'The Double, The Multiple and the contamination in web art', organized by the StudioXX, a media center in Montreal (Canada) dedicated to women. The fifth edition was inaugurated today (06/02) with 13 new works: 'The Date] [h! ] [Bl eed ing T. ex] [e] [ts _ 'Mez Breeze,' Postales' by Gabriela Golder, 'Connections' Jennifer Gunji and Jonas Downey,' Photomontage 'Shirin Kouladjie,' Redeeming the Gene 'Sonya Rapoport,' Epithelia 'of Mariela Yeregui, 'Islario' Laura Barr'n, 'Les sentiers battus' Caroline Gagné, 'Les panoplies Opalines' Odile Trépanier, 'Virus Corp' Tara Bethune-Leamen, 'Between a Rock and Hard Place' by Naomi Potter, 'Caméra en main' of Johanne Chagnon and 'Guide de la vie sur le Web Artificielle' Cheryl Sourkes. The presentations will be webcast simultaneously at 'La Chambre Blanche' of Quebec City, thus ensuring a dual audience for events. It will run until February 10.
