I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

To remember the disasters of September 11, there is a project that has continually shifted its date of inauguration to always include new work, as the most interesting. It is Glimpses, The World After September 11 , an online exhibition of micro-or microanimazioni, again less than two minutes, providing a panorama of artistic interpretations on the theme, culturally related to the European perspective in its diversity to the east and west. The work perloppiù in flash or real video and witness the hail of sensations that struck humanity after that date. Among the most significant are: 'Scanned People' Ioanna Myrka, on the filing of the people with barcodes, the anti-authoritarian 'Truth, Truth' by Nicolas Kozakis 'In search of Bin L. .. X' by George Kanellis , a 3D video on the hunt for Bin Laden, graphic animations minimal Maurice Ganis in 'Action Greetings', animations into bitmaps in a strict black and white 'Hypno Techno' Andy Deck, the bomb in computer graphics stopped by a home network 'Suicidal Bomb' Alexandros Spyropoulos, an eye that moves slightly in the loop in 'Untitled' by Kostas Bassanos, the bombing in Afghanistan represented as an animated cover of 'The New Yorker' Angelo Plessas, the medieval warrior which distributes the money in the empire 'Empire' of 'Ilias Marmaras', the pigeon, which runs on the same drifter in 'Pigeon' by Beatrijs Albers and Reggy Timmermans and ironic 'Swimming Jesus' Milton Manetas.
