The relationship between Andy Warhol and personal computers (becoming quite popular during his last years) has been only partially investigated beyond his Amiga works. I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

26.03.02 CollageMachine, the web as a juxtaposition of information.
Properly subtitled '[interface ecology], CollageMachine , is another tool of destruction of web pages, according to yet another recombinant criterion, this time familiar to most people. This work of net art of Andruid Kerne, in fact, acts on a specific site, selectable by the user, according to which retrieves the related images, allowing the user himself, through a java applet, placing them where they prefer to varying also overlapping, through some appropriate tools. The material that CollageMachine continues incessantly in finding is based on the respective choices, since the applet tends to seek material similar to that previously selected and placed in the foreground. As in surfing more enjoyable, ie those in which one gets caught by 'drift', even here the final result, dynamically created, it will be little predictable form and content.
