09:01:02 Generations artificial.
Artificial ART is a small collection of java applets that use pseudo-random numbers to generate visual patterns and geometric compositions of the essential beauty, which sometimes closely resembles abstract expressionism. Developed by the programmer Swiss Kurt Baumann, often getting results graphically complex and fascinating clash with the simplicity of the code base. The types identified are 'lines' (embroidery lines), 'disturb' (interactive deformation of simple geometries), 'Kyoto' (evolution frattaliche), 'neo-geo' (linear geometries of colors), 'pattern' (tangles of lines on background) and 'chance' (one of the remaining techniques chosen at random). Before becoming an applet: distributed algorithms were as shareware via a bulletin board.
