AutoBPM and BPM Calculator, manual and automatic calculations.

The Beat Per Minute (BPM) are the heartbeat of the music, the quantification of the rhythmic beat that brings with it, often bringing with it a connotation of genre or style. In the electric dance music then represent a fundamental fact for decisions in the combinations that DJs take to every track change. But their calculation (when not reported by labels and covers) becomes a tedious process and fallacious if executed without the right tools. Bjarne Laursen is a Danish that he wanted to try to solve this need with a couple of freeware that help users to identify the exact number of beats per minute of a particular song. In AutoBPM (also available as a plug-in for WinAmp, the signal is graphically divided into three frequency bands that are then used to isolate the repetitions and then to calculate the number of BMP. BPM Calculator instead consists of a bitmap with two rulers to crop and overlay that allow analogy to accurately determine the rate to be imposed on a second track, always calculated in BPM, in the mix to make it fully compatible with the first.
