Lovebytes International Festival of Digital Art 2003.

Inaugurated on March 20 in Sheffield on Lovebytes, International Festival of Digital Art . After the editions of 2001 and 2002 , this seems to be the richest ever realized effectively combining digital arts and electronic sounds. Divided as ever in conference / workshop / performance and live evening plans this year distinguished guests. Beginning with the Japanese trio of minim + +, which presents a series of installations that combine the classic iconography of the rising sun with interactive systems. The interface of these systems is developed through videos, animations, stylized hand movements, sensor technologies and software developed for this purpose. Also nurtured the screening program with animations in computer graphics of Aardman Animation and those of the issuer Mesh English Channel Four new works of Warp Films, the Austrian Lia, of Nullpointer, in addition to selections of One Dot Zero, and sixpack Search Engine Cinema. Among the live, finally, were: Chris Watson, a former member of Cabaret Voltaire with a show based on environmental recordings, Nobukazu Takemura, Carsten Nicolai, General Magic and Tina Frank.
