Chinatown, video games without players.

Chinatown is the latest video games artfully edited by Brody Condon. The original hacking software consists of code changes such as distorting the visual apparatus, but it sets the other hand, a non-spectacular gameplay. The intent, in fact, after having faithfully recreated the eponymous district of Los Angeles, is to remove the control to the user, letting the protagonists of the game act independently in an environment formalmene 'multiplayer'. This is not a simple 'demo', because the characters are driven by bot software, and in any case are scheduled to highlight the district and its transformations. The focus is shifted from the dynamics of a 'shoot-and-run', to those of the representation of reality and real estate changed in price and intended use, in a reprogramming of space, parallel in the two worlds (real and simulated).
