The first camera to swallow was setup dall'RF System laboratory Nagano (Japan), in order to obtain precise endoscopies and less difficult to conduct. The tiny capsule containing the optics and electronics has been named Norika 3 , and in the promises of its producers is small enough to be swallowed with ease, due to its size (9 mm in diameter and 23 mm in length.
