08:11:02 The missing chapter from 'The Art of Deception' by Kevin Mitnick.
The first chapter of the book by Kevin Mitnick 'The art of deception' is never going to print, but a few days ago appeared in some places in the network. According to Wiley, the publishing house that published the book, the chapter would have been included only in the promotional copies circulated to the press a few months before the launch. The content of this chapter concerned the first guide to Mitnick about his life from hackers and fugitive, as well as his arrest, trial and life in jail. Obviously the author had also countered the heinous articles by John Markoff of the New York Times, and its verbal speculation. The omitted chapter has been put online Saturday, November 2nd on the forum of Yahoo ' Kevin's Story 'and the same Mitnick said that "I am particularly pleased that the chapter is available. For a long time I have been described as the Osama bin Laden of the Internet and wanted to be able to tell my side of the story, being able to finally explain what I did and what I did to the people who thought he knew me. " In the infamous chapter explains how Markoff would have been furious because a movie based on his book 'Cyberpunk: Outlaws and Hackers on the Computer Frontier' would go up in smoke for refusing to renew Mitnick advice of the merits of the case. The same Mitnick said he still respects the decision of the editor, but that the internet is the perfect place to release the information, and that is counting down the days until you can essre online again (21 January 2003), after eight Forced years later, and the first site visit, he promises, will be the blog of his girlfriend.
