Friendlyghosts Irish Garrett Phelan is a translator of the text, which through a script in flash converts words into images and sounds. Each image consists of a pencil drawing, associated with a letter of the alphabet, a number, or a punctuation mark. The sounds are derived from decommissioned Morse code, which codified the letters with combinations of signals (long and short) and pauses. In this way, the artist creates an additional level of encryption (sound as well as visual) for the words, usually interpreted through their alphabetic symbols and make them at the same time abstract for redundancy of code to be interpreted in order to obtain the meaning accomplished. What is rendered, finally, is the continuous flow of speech in the flow of images and sounds.
